In 2007, a Dutch schoolteacher named Hanny van Arkel was scanning galaxies online when she spotted something no scientist had ever catalogued a vast, glowing cloud of ionized gas, electric green against the black of deep space. They named it Hanny's Voorwerp. Dutch for "Hanny's Object." A one-of-a-kind cosmic anomaly, impossible to miss, impossible to explain away.

The Green Bean Galaxy Faceplate for the iPod Classic carries that same energy. A color that doesn't belong to the background. Vivid, electric, and unmistakably itself the kind of green that stops you mid-scroll the same way Hanny's Voorwerp stopped astronomers mid-survey.
